Our company was established in 1990, while its business operations started in 1993. The company dealt with the purchase of waste materials, which today represents only a minor, but an ever more important part of our activities. After the breakup of the former Yugoslavia, there was a shortage of intermediate products made of non-ferrous metals. Our company seized the opportunity and established contacts with suppliers from abroad. Our business activities increased, creating a need for new premises. The company continued to grow together with the need for additional staff. The company was one of the two hundred fastest growing companies in Slovenia. Due to a wide range of intermediate products, a search for new business premises began. The opportunity arose in Kamnik (former production facilities of company Stol). In August 1999, we moved to our own premises.

Today, the company employs 46 people. With the annual turnover of more than 5000 tonnes of sold metal, we have become the biggest supplier of non-ferrous metals in Slovenia.

The company has also expanded its activities to markets of the former common country of Yugoslavia. Company AlCu Niš – obojeni materiali has been established in Serbia. We cooperate closely with our strategic partners from the neighbouring Italy and Croatia. In 2012, we established company AlCu d.o.o. in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. We still believe the customer always comes first – you do not search for products or services, you choose from them.

Coming from Ljubljana
Head towards the Trzin bypass. At the end of the bypass turn left and continue in the direction of Mengeš. When you come to the roundabout, take the first exit and continue until you reach the next roundabout where you take the 3rd exit onto the Mengeš bypass, which brings you to the Duplica – Šmarca roundabout. Take the 3rd exit and continue along Ljubljanska cesta for 300 m. Turn right into the industrial park.

Coming from Domžale
Head towards Jarše and continue to Šmarca where you come to the Duplica – Šmarca roundabout. Take the 3rd exit and continue along Ljubljanska cesta for 300 m. Turn right into the industrial park.

Coming from Kranj
Turn left in Moste in the direction of Kamnik. When you come to the roundabout in the village of Križ, take the first exit right and continue straight until you come to the Duplica – Šmarca crossroads. Take the 3rd exit in the Duplica – Šmarca roundabout and continue along Ljubljanska cesta for 300 m. Turn right into the industrial park.
